I want to reduce, even by one, the moments where someone's idea is given up on because there's “no budget” or “no people.”
I was born as a child of both Japan and the Philippines. Moving between the two countries, one reality became clear to me: the Philippines has talented, passionate people, yet in Japan countless ideas stall for no reason other than “there's no budget” or “there aren't enough people.”
In 2015 I founded a staffing company and spent ten years in the business of “connecting people and opportunity.” What I came to feel acutely was that connecting people alone has its limits. In 2018 I began teaching myself to code, and in 2022 I built a team in the Philippines. Writing code myself, as a project manager, and as a founder, I launched the school-management SaaS “Origami Education” and brought it to market in 2024.
Because I've done the hands-on work myself, I know this: combine the power of AI and global talent in the right way, and you can break through both the cost barrier and the speed barrier. The name Benrics is a coined word joining “benri” (convenient) and “-ics.” Advanced technology means nothing unless it turns into something “convenient” in people's hands — that conviction is written straight into our name.
Japan and the Philippines, AI and people, upstream and downstream. Connecting things that stand in different positions through HEART, and turning them into real value — that is the path I have walked, and the promise Benrics will keep on holding.
